HOLIDAY HOME TOUR PART II

Filed in DESIGN & STYLING — March 29, 2022

so excited to share part two of our holiday home tour. If you missed part one catch up HERE. I’ve shared all the sources in each space, and a little about my holiday styling this season. I hope it brings you inspiration. The holidays are the coziest time for our homes, and everything just feels so much more magical this time of year right here at home!

Starting in our kitchen- truly the heart of the home with a house full of boys. My goal every night is to “close the kitchen” before bed. It makes waking up and starting the day so much nicer when the kitchen is clean. It also brings a little extra cheer walking in here when the sun hasn’t risen yet and it’s cold out.

The dining room got a festive touch including my new look for less cabinet. If you caught this dupe on IG I shared how I made over this $450 Cabinet to look like a nearly $2500 designer counterpart. Greenery and bells always my go-to!

My full Christmas tablescape coming soon. Here’s our everyday look. Oversized vases/pots and candlesticks are a great low fuss option that create great impact.

Down the hall into the primary bedroom I kept it very simple. Our primary bedroom isn’t very big and in years past I used an alpine pencil tree in here but this year a simple wreath on the headboard did the trick! If you don’t have a lot of space a beautiful wreath or garland draped over the headboard is a beautiful look.

I also opt to switch our linens for the holidays and winter season. I keep our same linen sheets and comforter, my absolute favorite! I add an extra quilt in a warm tone like this beautiful taupe and a knit blanket. Fur, knit, and cozy sherpas are great textures to add for the season.

A wreath on hooks is an easy look for a bath to bring in some holiday greenery.

Finally, into my home office I set the tone for a festive holiday workshop. I spend a lot of my afternoons during the week in here, so I wanted to bring in a little cheer. A swag over the picture light is one of my favorite minimal accents to add to any space. Also, a big, fluffy, full garland draped over the mirror looks so good!

If you missed part one check it out here. Thank you for being here this holiday season. I truly hope I inspired you in some way to create the cozy home that brings so much cheer and joy this season.
